Some providers use the LEMON pneumonic to help them assess an airway

L- Look externally (facial trauma, teeth, facial hair, etc.)

E- Evaluate thyromental distance

M- Mallampati Class

O- Obstruction (airway edema, tracheal mass, mediastinal mass, etc.)

N- Neck mobility
