(Basics)
Q: Formula for Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) is

MAP = [(2 x diastolic)+systolic] / 3
What is the logic behind it?

Answer:  Diastole counts twice as much as systole because 2/3 of the cardiac cycle is spent in diastole. (Something very simple but essential to know!)
