Q: What are the major characteristics of Short QT Syndrome (SQTS)?

 Answer:

  • QT interval, usually less than 360 msec (range of 220 to 360 msec)
  • Absence of ST segment 
  • Tall and peaked T waves in the precordial leads
  • Poor rate adaptation of QT interval
