Answer: Lead poisoning
Cabot rings are RBС inclusions. It appears as fine, purple filamentous loops in "figure of eight" arrangements. They are probably remnants from the mitotic spindle. The usual causes are
- megaloblastic anemiа
- severe aոemiа
- lead poisoning
- leukemia
